Conservatives, Why Are You So Afraid to Be Loved?
We are all the same
What’s going on with conservatives?
You take hardline positions, fly “fuck you” flags, leave no room for love, care, and empathy.
That’s not conservative — that’s being led to slaughter.
Conservatives used to believe in personal freedom, democracy, and fiscal accountability.
Now it’s about control.
If you’re different from me, you’re wrong.
That’s the new conservative message.
Hate thy enemy.
Reject the foreigner.
Fear the different.
Crush empathy and kindness.
Anger is the new currency for conservatives.
You worry more about the unmarried pink-haired cat lady than you should.
She’s just chilling — doing her thing, feeding her cats, cleaning pink strands out of her drain.
You get mad at her.
Why? Because she asks for the freedom to just be herself.
Letting her live free — is that not a conservative value?
Why are you complaining about LGBTQ flags?
Liberals aren’t coming for your kids.
They’re telling your kids they’re loved no matter who they are.
Maybe we are coming for your kids — maybe liberals just want to say:
No matter who you are, where you come from, or who your parents are, you are loved and accepted.
Talking about differences doesn’t change a person’s sexuality.
It allows them to explore it, to question it.
That’s all.
And if they get it wrong for a bit, so what?
But here’s the thing — I know conservatives.
Politics aside, you’re no different from your liberal neighbours (and yes, neighbours is spelled with a “u”).
You go to work, struggle to pay your bills, worry about your kids.
But why do you feel so alone?
So isolated?
Why block out the world?
Liberals, for better or worse, want community.
But wait — aren’t those conservative values too?
I’m a socialist, yes.
But it doesn’t define me.
It doesn’t make me build walls between people — it makes me want to break them down.
I recently visited a mosque with a Student — a friend, really —
I don’t know what to call you, Fiazel, I’m sorry.
But it was an eye-opening experience.
I was hugged by strangers, given warm greetings.
Muslims are often referred to as conservative, but I don’t see it that way.
It’s not Muslims complaining about the flags of inclusion I hang in my dojo.
Whether or not they represent Muslim values.
Guess who complains.
I’ll give you one guess.
If something on the left bothers you, then let’s talk about it.
Facts don’t lie, and the truth is more obvious than we assume.
But talk — without fear, without division.
My next-door neighbours are some of the best people you’ll meet.
Come election time, they’ll put out their Conservative sign,
and we’ll put out our NDP sign (that’s radical socialist party, for my American Friends.)
And guess what?
We still talk to each other.
We still watch out for each other’s kids.
We might razz each other about the way we vote, but it ends there. I love my neighbours. No matter how wrong their political views… That’s a wink at you Steve!
Would I rather they vote my way? Sure.
But they don’t — and it’s not so bad here in Canada that the way they vote will destroy the world.
America… what’s going on? Are you okay?
And please, keep that shit on your side of the border.
Just like in the War of 1812 —
we don’t want your dogma.
It’s not welcome here.
Look, I’m not here to convert anyone to my cause.
I just tell it like I see it.
If you think I’m wrong,
I dare you —
Fact Check Me.

Liberals do it too. And they throw non conformist into jail. Feelings police. Anti- everything non- liberal. They're just as bad and dangerous as the other side of the pendulum. Centrist anarchy anyone?
