Certain things don’t belong in the private sector. Our institutions being a prime example
I gladly pay taxes so that we can all benefit from a broader scope of services offered - to all of us, not just those that can afford them.
Under this current administration in Alberta we have people in power who don’t give a rip about us. They’re too busy tearing down, selling off assets, gutting the workforce, sowing distrust.
There is no shared vision of “us/together”. Rather they have swallowed whole that me/mine self serving philosophy of greed.
My Alberta has no place for these tRunts.
My Alberta works best together, shared visions and goals Protecting each other enhancing opportunities.
Capitalism is a zero sum game, simply put “survival” of the Richest” . There is no social commitment or moral principle at play. The only objective is to grow Profit. All decisions are weighed against that objective.
This is not a reflection of business people, it’s a systemic fact.
Governing is about what’s good for society as a whole, even if a policy is inefficient .
Eventually Capitalism and good governance will collide, if Capitalism wins say good- bye to individual rights ! That’s why revolutions occur.
